Chamberlain Liftmaster Operating Frequency Identification
The 418MHz frequency was used from approx. 1997 to 2001, the model number of these motor units had the suffix UK, 418 or EGB-418. These transmitters are now officially discontinued and our SR-CLONE-U1-418 perfectly replaces the original.
NOTICE: NOT Compatible with Liftmaster 433.92MHz remotes such as 4335E or Liftmaster 27MHz remotes such as 750E.
Programming / Learning Instructions
Program to Gate / Garage Door Openers the same way as original Chamberlain Liftmaster remotes, please refer to your receiver's user manual. For a typical Chamberlain 8002E 418MHz Receiver, the programming procedure is as follows. Make sure to install the battery in the transmitter correctly.
1. Press and hold the remote control push button.
2. Press and release the Learn button in the Control Center on the opener panel. The indicator light will flash once.
3. Release the remote push button. Now the opener will operate when the remote control push button is pressed.
Note: If you release the remote control push button before the indicator lights flash, the opener will not accept the code. To erase all codes from the receiver, hold the receiver's Learn button until the indicator light goes off (after 6 seconds). All codes that the receiver has learned will be erased.
